SMS & Messaging Terms and Conditions

1. Program description

Zedcor operates the Zedcor Employee Notifications program to send transactional and operational messages to its employees by SMS text message, email, and automated voice call. Messages relate to IT security, account lifecycle events, business-continuity and emergency communications, and workplace/HR matters. This program does not send marketing or promotional messages.

2. Who receives messages

Messages are sent only to current Zedcor employees whose contact information is on file with Zedcor HR and IT. The program does not message the general public and does not obtain phone numbers from any third party.

3. Consent and opt-in

Employees are enrolled as part of their employment relationship. During onboarding and system provisioning, Zedcor collects employee contact details and employees agree to receive work-related notifications as a condition of using company systems and equipment. By providing a mobile number to Zedcor HR/IT, the employee consents to receive SMS messages from this program.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies and is event-driven — messages are sent when a relevant security, account, operational, or emergency event occurs. There is no fixed or recurring schedule.

5. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Zedcor does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates may apply depending on your plan.

6. Opt-out

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message from the program. After you send STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and will not receive further SMS messages unless you re-enroll. Because certain notifications are required for employment and system security, opting out of SMS may mean those notices are delivered by other means (such as email or phone).

8. Supported carriers & delivery

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside Zedcor's control.

9. Privacy

Information collected in connection with this program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Zedcor does not sell or rent recipient information, and does not share mobile numbers or messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

10. Changes

Zedcor may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL. Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
